About & methodology
Sources. Public customer-story libraries and announcements: Google Cloud's real-world gen AI use-case list, Microsoft's AI customer stories collection, Salesforce Agentforce customer stories, OpenAI and Anthropic customer stories, AWS case studies, plus a small number of X posts and Reddit threads. The tools directory comes from Hacker News launches. Every entry links to its source.
What counts as an agent. We mark an entry as a verified agent only when the source describes AI that works autonomously or across multiple steps, or takes actions and uses tools: for example resolving tickets end to end, booking appointments, or investigating alerts. Plain chatbots, copilots, summarization, and mentions of human call-center "agents" are excluded.
How we verified. Of 2267 collected use cases, 154 are listed as verified agents. Candidates were screened with keyword rules, then the agent shortlist was reviewed by hand against each description, and for some entries the source page. 262 entries remain "unclear" and are not shown. The rest were classified automatically and not individually read, so some agents may be missing.
Outcome metrics are quoted from the source text. We have not audited them, and most come from vendor marketing, so read them as vendor claims.
Sponsored content is always labeled "Sponsored". Sponsorship never affects verification.
